Flexi Foam Tapes

1. Composition:

• Base Material: XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) sheet — provides excellent electrical insulation, thermal stability, and mechanical strength.

• Laminated Side:

  • Aluminium foil: Acts as a reflective barrier for heat, improves electrical shielding, and provides flame resistance.

  • PET (Polyester) film: Provides mechanical protection, durability, and prevents damage to the aluminum layer.

2. Key Features:

• High electrical insulation properties.

• Thermal resistance (XLPE typically up to ~90–110°C; aluminium adds heat reflection).

• Moisture and chemical resistance.

• Flame retardant properties.

• Enhanced mechanical strength due to PET layer.

• Lightweight and flexible.

• Can be die-cut or fabricated as per requirement.

3. Typical Applications:

• Electrical insulation in motors, transformers, and generators.

• Thermal and electrical insulation in automotive and industrial equipment.

• Heat and moisture barrier in construction or machinery.

• Shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI).
